29 Mind-blowing Quotes from Discipline Equals Freedom By Jocko Willink

Discipline Equals Freedom by Jocko Willink is a really interesting and original book. It not only teaches you how you can achieve your goals and dreams but it also instructs you what you should eat. This book contains very useful information about the kind of foods you should or should not eat if you want to lose weight and stay fit. As I love going on a diet so I followed the advice in the book. In a few weeks, I lost so much weight that I then had to go off the diet. I still follow this diet but I don’t follow it very strictly (because I do not need to). The book also contains information about exercise. I skipped that part because I don’t like to work out.

Anyone desiring to lose weight should try to follow  the advice in this book for at least a month. If you don't lose any pounds you can stop the diet but you WILL lose weight.Just following the diet regimen will make you fit. I did not do any of the exercises that he explains at the end of the book or stayed hungry more than 4-6 hours and still got results. This book will really make you stronger, smarter, faster and healthier.

Here are the quotes that I love:

Discipline equals Freedom Quote

''The enemy is always watching. Waiting. Looking for that moment of weakness.Looking for you to exhale, set your weapon down, and close your eyes, even just for a moment.
And that’s when they attack.
So don’t be finished.
Be starting. Be alert. Be ready. Be attacking.
BE RELENTLESS.
Let the enemy stop. Let the enemy rest. Let the enemy finish.
You? Don’t finish. Don’t stop. Don’t rest.
Not until the enemy is completely destroyed.''

Discipline equals Freedom Quote

''The people who are successful decide they are going to be successful. They make that choice. And they make other choices. They decide to study hard. They decide to work hard. They decide to be the first person to get to work and the last to go home. They decide they are going to take on the hard jobs. Take on the challenges. ''Most of us aren’t defeated in one decisive battle. We are defeated one tiny, seemingly insignificant surrender at a time that chips away at who we should really be. I’m working hard. I’m taking things to the next level.
You keep gossiping—I’ll keep working.
You keep talking smack—I’ll keep working.
You keep chattering about things—I’ll keep working.
You keep focusing on what everyone else is doing wrong—I’ll keep focusing on what I can do RIGHT.
